Brechbill & Helman was awarded this project through a competitive low bid process by Loudoun County Government. The 40,000 square foot library is occupying part of the first floor and the entire second floor within the three story structure.

Gum Spring Library was a fit-out project. This fit-out was done in an existing 4 story building utilizing the first and second floors. The area consisted of 10,000 square feet per floor and had an opening of 40 square feet in the middle for a Grand Stair.  The HVAC system was in place on the roof structure with a main plenum to the new duct work. New switch gear was added to the existing electrical room on the first floor. 

Brechbill & Helman Const. Co., Inc. preformed all carpentry work including installing casework and trims, setting door jambs and hanging doors which were solid core 8’.
