• Development of Cost Models at the conceptual, design
development (40% and 80%) and construction documents
stages for the project

• Evaluate costs and provide Value Engineering throughout
the planning stages of the project. The greatest benefit of
value engineering happens in the early stages of the project

• Evaluation of the building and product types for costs,
durability, and aesthetic appearance

• Prequalification of subcontractors and material suppliers

• Develop predevelopment and construction schedules with
critical dates and milestones for the project that assist in
keeping the project on track

• Provide cost monitoring during the design-development
process

• Provide single source responsibility
